about me
as said on my main page, hi, i'm kris or shortcake. i...don't really know what an about me page is for. i suppose I can talk about myself and my interests.
in the past year or so, i've picked up ace attorney (currently up to aa5, i love this series SO MUCH), final fantasy (mostly 9 & 7, but i'm thinking of trying to hack my ps3 so i can play 8 & 10, and maybe look into playing some of the earlier ones too...), yu☆yu hakusho & hunter × hunter (both are really good, not quite finished hxh yet but i really liked yyh !!), and kingdom hearts which makes me just so. aghhhhhhhhh. its so fucking GOOD. since i don't have a lot of time, i mostly have stuck to reading the mangas and novels, but i'm playing through at my own pace !! i also LOVE strawberry shortcake, especially 2003, but i hold a fondness for all generations; and pokemon (as you may have guessed from the website, haah...). music i like is mostly stuff like zebrahead, lunachicks, bloodsucking zombies from outer space, itchy, autopilot off, and band-maid, but i'm also partial to a bit of eurobeat (take this how you will).
i really love twewy & neo:twewy- i even dressed up as shoka at my local comic con !! working through the secret reports in twewy currently; when i make that blog of mine work maybe i'll stick all my thoughts on it in there because holy fucking SHIT have you guys played it !! not to be that guy but if not: you really should. its absolutely worth it. changed my perspective on the people around me, on art, on who i am and who i want to be because goddamn. yeah.
some other things i'm a big fan of are legend of zelda, style savvy, kid icarus, dorohedero, sonic, death note, young justice (2010 show AND 1998 comic), sims 2 & 3, and doll collecting - mostly i collect monster high, but i want to get into licca & momoko dolls too. my favourite movie ever is "kamikaze girls," which you should really watch if you have the time.
i also love to draw and write - yes, fanfics and fanart, but original stuff too - so keep an eye out for that !! i also really really love ranting about stuff i love. so maybe i'll make a page for that too !! the digital world is my oyster.
